HARRISBURG, Pa., Feb. 14, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Worldwide industrial services and products company Harsco Corporation (NYSE:HSC) said today that its SGB Group division has secured a three-year, $20 million contract to provide scaffolding and powered access services in support of ongoing plant maintenance work at the Geleen petrochemicals production facility of DSM N.V., the Netherlands' leading supplier of specialty chemicals and materials.
Announcing the contract, Jacques Verhage, Managing Director of SGB North Europe said, "This important award, our largest ever for multi-disciplined work, gives a significant boost to our plans for continued growth in scaffolding and access services to the industrial maintenance sector." SGB will furnish a combination of conventional scaffolding and powered access lifts under the contract, which carries the potential for a further two year extension based on satisfactory performance during the initial term.
