U.S. Army Awards Three New Contracts to Logistical Support, LLC


CHATSWORTH, Calif., Jan. 27, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Logistical Support, LLC of Chatsworth, California has been awarded three new multi-year contracts from the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, to supply spare parts for the UH-60 Blackhawk, AH-64 Apache and UH-1 Huey, U.S. Army combat helicopters. The combined value of the first year releases for the three contracts is $1,089,179. The total value of contract options for future releases is $2,445,558.

1. A 3-year contract for the manufacture of hydraulic Flutter Dampener Assemblies used on the UH-1 Huey Helicopter.

2. A 5-year contract for the repair and overhaul of AH-64 "Apache" Attack Helicopter Environmental Control Units.

3. A 5-year contract for the manufacture of mechanical Power Input Assemblies used on the UH-60 Blackhawk helicopter.

For many years, the company has been a supplier of precision components and assemblies for military helicopter applications to the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command. Work for all of these multi-year contracts will be performed at the company's Chatsworth, California manufacturing and repair facility.
