Stallion Expands Wellsite Construction Services


HOUSTON, Nov. 13, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- Stallion Oilfield Services Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of Erlandson Construction Company, Inc. located in Gainesville, Texas. In addition to providing wellsite construction for drilling operations in the Fort Worth Basin, Erlandson also operates a rock quarry.

"Erlandson increases Stallion's location construction capacity in the Barnett Shale area," said Hill Dishman, Stallion's Chief Operating Officer. "In addition to responding to our customers' needs more quickly in this increasingly active field, Erlandson brings a quality asset base and experienced employees."

"This acquisition continues our strategy to provide our customers with all of the products and services they need before, during and after drilling operations," continued Dishman. "Ricky Erlandson will remain with the company which will operate as Stallion Construction."

In a related note, Stallion also announced it has acquired G&N Rentals. G&N, based in Bowman, North Dakota, is a leading provider of surface rental equipment to the North Dakota and Montana oilfields. The transaction augments Stallion's existing surface rental business in the Williston Basin.
