ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 20, 2008 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Emerging Media Holdings (OTCBB:EMDH) announced today the creation of a new advertising company, Alkasar Media Services Ltd. Emerging Media Holdings and Alkasar Region LLC have agreed to become partners to promote new advertising technologies in Republic of Moldova in media buying business.
The new Emerging Media Holdings' partner - Alkasar Region LLC - is affiliated to Gazprom-Media JSC advertising agency, selling the advertising in more than 80 of the biggest Russian cities, such as Moscow, St. Petersburg and others.
Gazprom-Media JSC is the exclusive seller of advertising time on five Russian federal television channels and controls more than 25% of Russian TV advertising, being Russia's second largest "sales house" in the advertising market.
