Author Bill Copeland's Cosmic Swan Now Released -- Readers Will Witness the Earth's Impending Doom and a Journey to a New Home in a Galaxy Far, Far Away in This Spine-tingling Saga

PALO ALTO, Calif., Jan. 13, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- A work of fiction packed with high-stake action, chilling surprises, and an extraordinary plot is now ready to take everyone into a terrific adventure. As applauded author, Bill Copeland releases his phenomenal book entitled Cosmic Swan, science fiction fanatics and booklovers will now prize themselves with an exciting and nerve-racking expedition.

In the backdrop of the vast solar system, Cosmic Swan sets off in Palo Alto, California, with a major earthquake rattling the home of a geologist named Mark Joff. The setting changes to the Himalayas, where Mark is sent by the U.S. Geological Survey to investigate the trigger to the worldwide geologic disturbances.

As Mark is setting seismic equipment in the earthquake-ravaged region, he meets Kusoom, the lovely, serene leader of a cult. The cult believes that a Great Being is about to emerge from Mount Kailas. His instruments confirm that something very big, bigger than a city, is opening up the mountain. When he confirms that it is alive-and that fact is communicated to China, Russia, and the US- the world powers decide to kill the emerging creature to stop the destruction.

Back in northern California, two astronomy graduate students discover that the massive blue comet they have been studying is also alive and has turned toward Earth. A blue star shines from its heart. Then, they discover that the living comet is communicating with the "Great Being" under Mount Kailas. As Copeland pushes his plot at a blistering pace, a great mystery about the Cosmic Swan is also revealed.

Join Kusoom, Mark, and all the believers in watching the broken Earth slowly fall away by flicking through the pages of this exhilarating book. For more information, log on to www.Xlibris.com.
