SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - August 10, 2010) - Seattle-based design consultancy, Teague, recently added Nathan Shedroff to its board of directors. Shedroff, a pioneer in experience design and design strategy, will join Teague's six-member board immediately.

Shedroff is currently chair of the MBA in Design Strategy program at California College of Arts in San Francisco, California. He's considered a pioneer in Experience Design -- an approach to design that encompasses multiple senses and requirements and explores common characteristics in all media that make experiences successful, as well as related fields, Interaction and Information Design.
His experience further extends to speaking and teaching internationally. He's also written extensively on design and business issues including, Experience Design 1 (www.nathan.com/ed) where he maintains a website with experience design resources and strategically consults with companies to build better experiences for their customers. Shedroff authored two books in 2009 including Design is the Problem and Experience Design 1.1. His Experience Design 1 Cards, a tool that helps designers create more meaningful experiences, were also published in 2009.
Shedroff earned his master's degree in business administration from Presidio School of Management in San Francisco, California. He has a bachelor's degree in industrial design with an emphasis on automobile design from the Art Center College of Design in Pasedena, California. After receiving his bachelor's degree, he worked as a senior designer at TheUnderstandingBusiness. Later, he co-founded vivid studios, a decade-old pioneering company in interactive media and one of the first Web services firms. Shedroff was nominated for a Chrysler Innovation in Design Award and a National Design Award.
