Learn How to Navigate the New World of Investing From StockTwits CEO Howard Lindzon. Sunday, 1 P.M. FREE

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 2, 2011) - New information channels are revolutionizing stock investing today. Investors can learn how to leverage this information at a special free event this Sunday, June 5, at Cambridge House International's World Resource Investment Conference. The conference runs Sunday and Monday, June 5 & 6 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, East.

Beginning at 1 p.m., experienced and novice investors will have a rare chance to hear about this new world from one of its primary navigators. Howard Lindzon, founder and CEO of StockTwits, will be sharing his thoughts about the social web and its effect on investing and stocks.

A social network for traders and investors to share real-time ideas and information, StockTwits was recently named one of the "top 10 most innovative companies on the web" by FastCompany and one of the "50 best websites" by Time magazine.

Following Mr. Lindzon's presentation, attendees will hear from the founder of one of the first peer-to-peer investor sites, Stockhouse.com. The always controversial Jeff Berwick, editor of the Dollar Vigilante newsletter, will be providing a macro look at today's investment climate. Mr. Berwick will outline some investment strategies surrounding what he believes is a coming collapse in the U.S. dollar. His speeches have been conference favorites for the past couple of years and are not to be missed.

The two speakers will share their knowledge at 1 pm in Speaker Hall 2 in the Vancouver Convention Centre East, adjacent to the Pan Pacific Hotel. Admission is free with pre-registration.

Cambridge House International's two-day World Resource Investment Conference will also have 40 other world-class speakers and 350 exhibiting companies that will offer information on resources, investing and entrepreneurship to investors of all stripes.
