(OTCBB:DPDM) (http://www.dolphindigitalmedia.com) is excited to announce that its next digital series, Hiding, will begin principal photography on August 8, 2011 in Alberta, Canada. Hiding will be directed by television veteran Thomas Wright, whose previous work includes multiple episodes of popular television series NCIS, Castle, One Tree Hill, and Smallville. Dolphin Digital Media CEO Bill O'Dowd will serve as Executive Producer.
Hiding follows the story of Alicia Torres, a high school sophomore, as she is entered into the Witness Protection Program. Having witnessed her parents' murder at the hands of the son of a notorious crime boss, Alicia is moved from New York City to Livingston, Montana, and forced to change her identity. Now "Josephine Russo," an Italian-American girl from Seattle, Alicia is deprived of all contact with anyone from her former life (no cell phone, no Facebook, no e-mail), and is asked to form a new life for herself in a world far different from her own. No friends. No former hobbies. And absolutely no speaking Spanish.
Hiding, written by Brian Hurwitz, will premiere as a 6-episode web series (10-15 minutes per episode), before being repackaged and sold as a made-for-television movie.
