The University of Miami and Dolphin Digital Media Announce Launch of Enhanced Coca-Cola Junior Canes Club

MIAMI, Sept. 16, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The University of Miami and Dolphin Digital Media, Inc. (OTCBB:DPDM) (http://www.dolphindigitalmedia.com) are pleased to announce the launch of the enhanced Coca-Cola Junior Canes Club, an exciting fan club for children that combines unique "real-world" offerings with an engaging online experience. Memberships are being accepted online beginning today at www.juniorcanesclub.com, and parents can also sign up their children at various University of Miami athletic events, including all home football games this season, beginning this Saturday night with the game against Ohio State.

Members of the Coca-Cola Junior Canes Club are set to receive an exciting number of benefits. For football fans, on November 25th, all Junior Canes are invited to receive free admission to the University of Miami vs. Boston College ACC Conference football battle at Sun Life Stadium. This year, club members will also receive free admission to select men's and women's basketball games, as well as to select baseball games. By using their exclusive membership card, they also receive free admission to ALL home women's soccer and women's volleyball games.

In addition to free admission to sporting events, the University of Miami Athletics Department will also hold exclusive parties and events for the Junior Canes.

Even when Junior Canes Club members are not out cheering for the Hurricanes in person, they will never be far from the action. The Junior Canes Club now offers a fun and unique fan experience online at www.juniorcanesclub.com. The online home is few other college athletic departments can offer. Members can ask their favorite player or coach a question, see exclusive videos and photos from University of Miami athletics, play online games, create and customize their own personal profile page, take fan polls, and much more!

The most unique feature of the enhanced Coca-Cola Junior Canes Club is the fingerprint swipe entry into the club's website. A USB port fingerprint reader is provided with each membership, and members must swipe their finger to gain access to the online experience. Such a system eliminates the need for passwords, which could be forgotten, lost or stolen. The fingerprint entry system allows for greater user authentication, while helping to eliminate many online dangers, such as cyber-bullying, stolen identities and piracy.

"For families that love sports and the Hurricanes, the revamped Coca-Cola Junior Canes Club provides both first-class entertainment and practical benefits," said UM Director of Athletics Shawn Eichorst. "Dolphin Digital Media has built a platform that provides a wholesome and fun internet experience around UM athletics, while providing state-of-the-art safeguards that insure the browsing experience is free from inappropriate influences."

"For me, this is a very special day," states Bill O'Dowd, CEO of Dolphin Digital Media. "I was born and raised in Miami, and have always been a Hurricanes fan. As a child, I attended UM baseball games with my Mom, and never missed a summer baseball camp. I'm a proud season ticket holder for UM football. So, for me, there was no other choice for which organization we wanted to partner with first, to bring a new standard of online engagement and safety to the next generation of fans of collegiate athletics. I applaud the University of Miami, and its Athletics Department, for taking a leadership role in providing such a fun, smart way to engage with children in the community, while doing so in the safest, most responsible manner."

A registration fee of $20 provides each Junior Canes Club member with a Welcome Kit, which includes an Official Coca-Cola Junior Canes T-shirt, a membership card, an autographed photo from Sebastian the Ibis, and a fingerprint reader. Each month thereafter is only $9.99, and entitles Junior Canes Club members to the array of benefits, both at sporting events and online, which currently hold over a $400 annual value. There are multi-child discounts, with the second child (and each additional child) per household receiving 50% off the monthly fee (only $4.99 per month per additional child). Furthermore, each Junior Canes Club membership also comes with a free subscription to Dolphin Secure, the new standard in online safety tools for parents.

The Junior Canes Club is open to children 12-years of age and younger.
