LOS ANGELES, Nov. 5, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Drinks Americas Holdings, Ltd., ("Drinks") (OTCQB:DKAM), a leading developer and marketer of beverage products, is pleased to announce that its award-winning KAH® Tequila ("KAH") holiday-marketing photo shoot was held in Houston, Texas at Nolan Conley Photography ("Nolan").
Premiere Promotions, a Houston-based modeling agency, selected five models for the photo shoot: Jackie Young, former Miss Darque Tan National Campaign Winner; Christina Salazar, National Tecate Model; Tatiana Ferrar, international model from Argentina; Carol Menendez, a Patriot Girls USA model for the Armed Forces; and Erika Walker, International Hooters Calendar Model. The shoot lasted all day with numerous costume changes for various holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's and Valentine's Day. These photos will be used to promote KAH Tequila throughout the holiday season on Facebook, Twitter, emails and point-of-sale materials.
Stephanie Talafuse is the owner of Premiere Promotions, Inc. Ms. Talafuse has been in the modeling and promotions business for 20 years and produced many special events, promotions and fashion shows. She staffed and styled the models for the photo shoot and worked closely with Nolan to produce the layout of each poster. Ms. Talafuse, sales manager for KAH in Texas, said, "We love working with Nolan. He does excellent work and is very creative with layout and design. We also had a chance to work with makeup artist Marium Bashir, and we're very pleased with her work as well."
Nolan Conley, the official photographer for KAH, was asked to shoot this year's holiday campaign. He is a native Texan and has lived in the Texas Gulf Coast region all his life. Photography has been a passion for Mr. Conley since the "photo bug bit" in 1978. Mr. Conley and his wife Lucinda opened a full-time photography studio in November of 1984, and it's been a successful operation with thousands of pleased customers over the years.
Today Nolan has a large client list and a state-of-the-art studio in North Houston. They have photographed such notables as Anna Nicole Smith and Playmate Kimberly Holland, as well as national sports figures such as Arian Foster of the Houston Texans. "Our studio has maintained a great relationship with Premiere Promotions over the years on numerous projects, so we are very excited to be working closely with KAH."
Marium Bashir is a freelance makeup artist and hairstylist in Houston, Texas. Ms. Bashir is highly gifted, with more than six years of experience in the makeup industry. She is experienced in both traditional and airbrush makeup and was trained by the celebrity makeup artist Marc Harvey from Elementwo Beauty. Ms. Bashir has worked with many companies, such as Darque Tan, Houston Talent Showcase 2012, Houston Fashion Week, and Micci Marmalade.
