The PowerFLOW Solution Forum is a conference for industry professionals seeking to learn about state-of-the-art simulation-driven design solutions. Invited speakers from leading companies will highlight their aerodynamic, thermal and acoustic simulation successes and how Exa PowerFLOW has been a key part of their product development process. Exa Japan will welcome the following distinguished guest presenters:

  • Mr. Hiroyuki Shiozawa, Nissan Motor Company Ltd., will present on Nissan's success in reducing aerodynamic drag through PowerFLOW simulation and their quest to realize a full digital design process and thus eliminate physical wind tunnel testing

  • Dr. Kazuomi Yamamoto, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), will discuss JAXA's pursuit of aircraft jet noise reduction and the techniques and Exa simulation solutions they have implemented

  • Dr. Yuji Kodama, Yokohama Rubber Company Ltd., will emphasize the importance of whole vehicle aerodynamic drag simulation and Yokohama Rubber's use of PowerFLOW to evaluate the impact of tire shape on fuel consumption

  • Mr. Motohiro Kitada, Denso Corporation, will highlight Denso's success in dramatically reducing cabin noise though HVAC flow-induced noise prediction simulations using Exa PowerFLOW and PowerACOUSTICS® products

In addition to these distinguished guests, experts from Exa Corporation will highlight the soon to be released PowerFLOW 5 platform — the next generation of Exa's DIGITAL PHYSICS®, discuss aerodynamic impact of tires on vehicle flows, and multi-disciplinary optimization solutions for off-highway vehicle emissions.

"PowerFLOW's highly-accurate simulations of fully-detailed production models have made it perfectly suited for the engineering needs of these prestigious companies," remarked Kazuhito Ishikawa, Managing Director, Exa Japan. "We are honored to have such a distinguished group of presenters share their experiences and successes. It will be a great conference for all engineers currently facing the need to better optimize their products though cost-effective aero, thermal or acoustics simulations."

Conference registrations for the PowerFLOW Solution Forum are still being accepted. Please contact Exa Japan at info-jp@exajapan.jp or visit www.exajapan.jp for more information.
