Mr. Ellisen will serve as Senior Fund Counsel supporting Stonegate's growing client base in the Northeast. Mr. Ellisen will focus on the formation and administration of complex hedge funds, venture capital and private equity funds in New York and throughout the East Coast region. Mr. Ellisen has extensive industry experience having served as underwriter and issuer counsel at Sidley Austin LLP, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP, the former McKee Nelson law firm, as well as his current role as managing partner of Shahmoon & Ellisen LLP. He holds his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, as well as a B.A. from the University of Minnesota.

Mr. Blackburn holds his B.S. in English from Lafayette College, as well as his J.D. from Touro College.
