GOVERNANCE TRAINING PROGRAM IN QUALITY AND SAFETY COMING SOON

The Governance Institute, together with Thomas Jefferson University's School of Population Health, provides an expert-level quality training program for healthcare executives and board members.


SAN DIEGO, March 9, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Governance Institute, a service of National Research Corporation, is continuing its partnership with Thomas Jefferson University's School of Population Health to present a one-day training program on quality and safety for board members in April in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at The Ritz-Carlton, Philadelphia. The program will be led by Dr. David Nash, Dean of the Jefferson School of Population Health.

This interactive training focuses on strategic issues involved in creating a cutting-edge quality and safety governance program. It will include practical examples of the board's role and the role of the quality committee in quality and patient safety efforts, and will incorporate the perspectives of all affected stakeholders in the healthcare system. Upon successful completion of the course, board members will receive a certificate of completion from The Governance Institute and Thomas Jefferson University's School of Population Health.
