MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C., Oct. 25, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Mount Pleasant Neck and Back Center's Dr. Craig Howenstine was recently recognized by the officers and directors of Health Network Solutions, Inc., for his contributions to the 2014 HNS Professional Affairs Advisory Board. HNS formed advisory boards to ensure that network providers have an active voice in the direction of HNS, along with its services and policies. The organization's goal is to foster collaboration and open, honest communication between HNS and their providers to improve patient care and outcomes. With advisory boards in each geographic region the network represents, health care providers have an opportunity to improve the delivery of safe, cost-effective care in their own hometowns.

Dr. Howenstine of Mount Pleasant Neck and Back Center feels honored to have been selected for this prestigious honor by HNS. "I find great satisfaction in my work on the HNS Professional Affairs Advisory Board," Dr. Howenstine said. "Through my contributions to the board I have been able to improve the standards of care for the people of my community. For me, that's what it has always been about: delivering the highest standards of care to my patients and ensuring that as many individuals in my community as possible have access to excellent health care services."
