Commercial Trial Lawyer and Employment Law Attorney Added to the Ferguson, Braswell & Fraser Legal Team

Ryan M. T. Allen and Traci M. Clements Join Expanding DFW-Based Full-Service Business Law Firm

PLANO, Texas, Nov. 10, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Ferguson, Braswell & Fraser, PC (FBF), a full-service business law firm strategically located in North Texas, is growing rapidly as two attorneys join the firm’s expanding practice. Ryan M. T. Allen is a commercial trial lawyer and Traci M. Clements focuses her legal practice on ERISA, employee benefits and employment law.

“This year our law firm has experienced unprecedented growth. The high quality of FBF’s legal work combined with the strong reputations of our attorneys is drawing the attention of businesses looking for a full-service law firm that they can trust,” said L. Kyle Ferguson, president and founder of Ferguson, Braswell & Fraser, PC. “At FBF, we are extremely selective about the lawyers we bring into the practice since we have taken the time to strategically build a powerful legal team dedicated to providing a wide range of business services for our clients. With their unique backgrounds, outstanding skills and credentials, we welcome Ryan Allen and Traci Clements into the firm.”

A trial lawyer with 12 years of experience, Ryan Allen focuses on the resolution of business, intellectual property and employment disputes throughout Texas and Oklahoma. Representing clients from individuals, entrepreneurial start-ups to Fortune 500 corporations, Allen provides counsel on many types of business issues. He also has represented a number of oil and gas clients, primarily focusing on oversight and regulatory issues.

Prior to joining FBF, Allen worked for Petrolia Group, LLC, as general counsel to the oil and gas development firm after spending more than ten years in private practice. Licensed to practice law in Texas and Oklahoma, Allen is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Southern, Western and Eastern Districts of Texas and the U. S. District Court for the Western District of Oklahoma. He is also a credentialed attorney-mediator in Texas and Oklahoma. In addition, Allen was recognized as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer Rising Star for 2012, 2013 and 2014 in commercial and employment litigation.

Born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma, Allen received a football scholarship to The University of Oklahoma (OU). A four-time letterman, he received recognition for his athletic expertise and academic scholarship as an undergraduate before obtaining a degree in political science in 2000. A loyal OU alumnus, Allen graduated with a J.D. from the Oklahoma University College of Law.  An honor graduate, he received additional academic achievement awards and scholarships while attending law school.

An attorney with a corporate background, Traci Clements focuses her law practice on general employment law as well as ERISA, employee benefits, and executive compensation. With almost two decades experience in human resource matters, Clements has been practicing law since 2004. Prior to completing her law degree, she was human resources director of Object Systems Group, Inc., a technology-based consulting firm. During her work at Object Systems, she led contract management activities in addition to advising top-level executives on HR policies.  Her experience in employee benefits, employment contracts, and corporate matters sparked her interest in pursuing a legal career in employment law.

Following her career as a human resources professional, Clements served as in-house counsel, including General Counsel to a publicly traded company, after she completed her law degree. She has also worked for other law firms and operated as a solo legal practitioner focusing on ERISA and employment law matters. This background gives Clements a strong appreciation for a client’s need to balance business goals with legal compliance. She advises and assists corporate clients with solving daily workplace issues, drafting and reviewing employment contracts and executive packages, and administering employee benefits and group retirement plans.

Clements is licensed to practice law in Texas, and is admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court. A Texas native, she received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University. Clements received her J.D. in 2004 from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law (which is now known as Texas A&M University School of Law.)  Clements also received a certification in mediation from North Lake College in Irving, Texas.

“Our commitment to serving the best interest of our clients is the driving force behind the growth of Ferguson, Braswell & Fraser, and the reason we attract attorneys who deliver the highest quality legal work,” Ferguson added.
