Signal Hill Expands West Coast Senior Banking Team

Hires Chris Hieb as Managing Director


BALTIMORE, Md., Feb. 16, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Signal Hill, a leading advisory boutique serving the M &A and private capital raising needs of growth companies, is pleased to announce that Christopher A. Hieb has joined the firm's San Francisco office as a Managing Director. He will join Signal Hill's Enterprise Software Practice Group, with a focus on advanced analytics and contact center software infrastructure.

Prior to joining Signal Hill, Mr. Hieb spent more than seven years building the M &A practice at Pacific Crest Securities and its successor, KeyCorp. Before Pacific Crest, he served as Head of West Coast M &A at W.R. Hambrecht and Oppenheimer, and also worked as an investment banker at SoundView Technology Group. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hieb was employed as a nuclear engineer at several U.S. nuclear facilities, including at the Institute for Nuclear Power Operations. He received a B.S. degree in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University and conducted further study at California Polytechnic State University.
