7-Eleven’s Slurpee Bring Your Own Cup Day Sequel

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, May 11, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- 7-Eleven Canada has announced that Slurpee Bring Your Own Cup Day will return this year for another full day of celebration for the first time. Given spring made a late arrival in Canada, Slurpee fans will be surprised to hear that Slurpee Bring Your Own Cup Day is being brought back for some fun in the actual sun! This year’s March event was a success with fans showcasing their creativity. Customers are encouraged to kick off the May long weekend with their favourite Slurpee in hand. The countdown is on to the first long weekend of summer!

On Friday, May, 19th, customers can fill up their most creative cup with a Slurpee for only $1.50 –  a tradition that has brought fishbowls, trophies and fine china to local stores nationwide. This May, a wide variety of Slurpee flavours will be available, including two limited-time-only flavours, Mountain Dew Mango Heat and Glorious n’ Freezing Strawberry – only with Slurpee at 7-Eleven. The popular event does come with a few restrictions. Containers must be within 26cm in diameter, watertight, clean and hygienic. There is also a limit of one container per person per day and no refills. Scan your 7Rewards app to earn a punch and get closer to a free Slurpee, every 7th cup is still free.
