Panini Announces Organizational Changes and Associate Promotions

Increased Focus on Supply Chain and Quality


TORINO, Italy and DAYTON, Ohio, Dec. 19, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Today, Panini, a global payments technology provider, announced changes in the company’s structure and associate promotions to support their continued success and future growth opportunities.

The company structured a role focused directly on jointly managing Supply Chain and Quality. Manlio Lombardo, based at Panini’s headquarters in Torino, Italy, has been promoted to Director, Supply Chain Operations; reporting directly to the company’s CEO, Michael Pratt. Manlio joined Panini in early 2008, and is responsible for many of the company’s modernization efforts in R&D - including the creation and leadership of the Mechanical Design & Engineering Team, and in Supply Chain - including activities in production start-up, tooling, cost reduction initiatives, and production scheduling. Prior to joining Panini, Manlio worked for Olivetti in their R&D Organization, and served as an Officer in the Engineering Corp of the Italian Army. He has a Mechanical Engineering Degree with Honors from the University of Palermo.

Supporting Lombardo and based at Panini’s North American headquarters in Dayton, Ohio, Caleb Miller has been promoted to Global Demand Planning Manager. In his new role, Caleb will be responsible for global sales forecasting & analysis, demand management/planning & analysis, global production inventory reconciliation, materials management & logistics, sales business intelligence, and operational quality initiatives.  Caleb has been with Panini since October 2008 and has extensive experience in logistics, forecasting, materials management, supply chain coordination, and quality assurance (QA).  He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Baker College.

Marco Guerrieri will now head Panini’s R&D Mechanical Development Team, based in Torino. Marco, a mechanical engineer, has been with the company since 2008 and was instrumental in the development of Vision neXt, Panini’s flagship branch capture platform, designed to transform the way bank personnel interact with customers making deposits and to consolidate several teller functions in a compact footprint.
Suzanne Zachman, based in Dayton, Ohio, to the role of QA Inspection Supervisor. Suzanne has been with Panini since September 2007. She started her career with Panini as a tester and has been the QA Group Leader for the past several years.
