Edmentum Adds New Chief Talent Officer to its Leadership Team

Minneapolis, Minnesota, April 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Edmentum (edmentum.com), a global education leader and the original pioneer in online teaching and learning programs, announces Dr. Mia Mulrennan as its new Chief Talent Officer. Dr. Mulrennan is the fifth addition to Edmentum’s executive leadership team in the last eight months. 

Dr. Mulrennan brings over 20 years of experience creating strategic talent solutions and strong employment brands as an organizational psychologist and consultant. After working in outplacement consulting in her hometown of New York City, Dr. Mulrennan moved to the Twin Cities, where she spent nearly 10 years developing and implementing models for top-notch service delivery and talent practices in the hotel and hospitality industry. After receiving her doctorate in clinical psychology in 1999, she transitioned into human resources consulting, specializing in talent assessment and leadership development.
 
In addition to her many professional successes, Dr. Mulrennan is also an accomplished and award-winning educator and author. Early in her career, she worked as a school psychologist in the public school system. She later served as an adjunct faculty member at the University of St. Thomas Opus School of Business, at St. Catherine University Women’s Leadership Institute, and in Georgetown University’s Master of Hospitality Management program.

Additionally, she will oversee Edmentum’s forthcoming education foundation.
