The rechargeable LED lamp emits a red light beam on the ground during use, serving as a visual warning for nearby pedestrians and workers.
The EXHL-TRN-RPS-LE4-FKWL-RED-M provides an effective supplementary solution to audible safety alarms on forklifts. Featuring a small form factor (SFF) design, the 25-watt unit provides 2,250 lumens of output (red light) during operation. The explosion proof LED light is equipped with an 8.8aH lithium-ion battery, which offers up to eight hours of use. A tight beam configuration of 5 degrees (narrow spot) ensures a highly concentrated and visible beam with accurate placement on the operating floor of the facility.
Mounting for the explosion proof LED forklift pedestrian light is facilitated by a powerful magnet. During installation, individuals can attach and remove the portable light without tools. An adjustable U-bracket allows seamless control of the lamp. When adjusting the light head, operators can loosen a single bolt on the mount.
The EXHL-TRN-RPS-LE4-FKWL-RED-M is made out of aluminum (housing) and polycarbonate (lens), as well as finished with a robust powder coating for durability. The unit is NEMA rated, complying with NEMA Type 3, 4, 4X, 7 (B, C, D) and 9 (E, F, G) standards. For protection from moisture and water sprays, the explosion proof LED lamp is IP66 rated. The ATEX-rated red forklift warning light is suitable for use in flammable environments under the following explosion proof classifications: Class I, II, III and Class I, Zones 1 & 2.
Compared to traditional strobe lights for forklift safety, this rechargeable LED unit provides an ‘always on’ light beam for persistent warning of lifting operations. Unlike audible alarms, which are ineffective for operators wearing ear buds and locations with loud machines, this red forklift LED light is easily detectable and less prone to acclimation.
