GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., March 29, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Tara Lipinski, the reigning Olympic Gold Medalist, is part of a star-studded charity tour that visits five cities kicking off April 20, 2001.
The Tara Lipinski Miracle Match Charity Tour will star Olympic Gold Medalists Tara Lipinski and Ilia Kulik, and will feature Olympic Medalists and World Team members: Rosalynn Sumners, Angelika Krylova, Oleg Ovsyannikov, Yuka Sato and Jason Dungjen, Anjela Nikodinov, Caryn Kadavy, Takeshi Honda, and Jayson Denommee.

The Tara Lipinski Miracle Match Charity Tour will benefit the Miracle Match Foundation, an organization that provides grants to organizations that (1) provide for seriously ill children and their families, (2) set up blood and bone marrow drives, and (3) are involved with research and development of a cure for Leukemia. Founder, tennis professional Bill Przybysz was diagnosed with Leukemia in July of 1995. After a successful bone marrow transplant, Bill is on his way to a complete recovery. All net proceeds benefit the Miracle Match Foundation.
