Holsted Marketing Expands Into Canada

NEW YORK, Sept. 27, 2001 (PRIMEZONE) -- Holsted Marketing, Inc., a leader in syndicated direct mail continuity programs, today announced its entrance into the Canadian market, where it is handling campaigns for Sears Canada and Hudson Bay.

According to Caroline Farnsworth, SVP of New Business Development, the response to Holsted's initial promotions has exceeded expectations and the company is planning to further expand it's prospecting in Canada to include banks, catalogs and other credit card companies. In addition, Holsted will expand its marketing with Sears Canada and Hudson Bay, going out to more of their customer base with a variety of offers including jewelry and porcelain collectible programs.

"Our approach in Canada mirrors that of the U.S. We feature successful, turn-key syndication programs that offer a diverse selection of merchandise, from jewelry to skin care lines to other unique high-quality products that generate significant new revenues for our customers at no cost to them," said Victor N. Benson, President and CEO of Holsted. "Canada is a largely untapped, extremely receptive consumer market. We have received an excellent response to our continuity programs in the U.S. and now we are exploring new avenues for expansion in Canada."

For Holsted clients in the U.S. and in Canada, syndicated continuity programs are a strong incremental revenue source and customer relationship builder. When Holsted and a client partner on a continuity program, Holsted assumes all investment and manages all aspects of the campaign. At literally no cost, clients have an easy-to-execute tool to accelerate income and profit growth -- quickly and predictably -- from their customers.
