Enea Realtime Gives Notice to 60 Persons in Stockholm

TABY, Sweden, Jan. 16, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The Chief Executive Officer of Enea Data AB states that the subsidiary Enea Realtime gives notice to 60 persons in Stockholm. Local offices in other districts will not be affected. The reduction of staff means an adaptation to a smaller market in the Stockholm area and it also implies a focus on our most important competence areas.

The slowdown on the Swedish consultant market is continuing and it is mainly the market in Stockholm that is affected. Enea Realtime in Stockholm hereby adapts to a smaller market and focuses the business to be a clearer partner to our customers. The main focus will remain overall engagement within real-time oriented product development. The staff may be reduced by up to 60 persons.

This action is estimated to save about SEK 20 Million in costs in 2002 and lead to a better profitability going forward in Enea Realtime.

Preliminary Report of 2001 Earnings will be presented 2002-02-08.
