BATON ROUGE, La., Feb. 5, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- LeBlanc & Waddell, LLC announced today that a class action lawsuit was filed against Regeneration Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:RTIX) for alleged violations of the federal securities laws for investors who purchased stock during the period July 25, 2001 through January 31, 2002.

The action against RTIX, which is pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, Gainesville Division, charges that the company issued materially false and misleading financial statements which caused RTIX's stock price to be artificially inflated.
