Jarle Haug currently heads the corporate staffs in Retail Banking Norway and has held a number of positions at K-Bank since he joined in 1989. Jarle Haug will succeed Bengt-Ake Eriksson, who is to retire this summer. Bengt-Ake Eriksson became the first head of Group IT two years ago having held the same position within Nordbanken and MeritaNordbanken for 10 years.
"Nordea and Group IT have to meet major challenges in terms of coordination and efficiency," says Jarle Haug. "I look forward to the demanding and very important position as head of Group IT," he concludes.
