MALMO, Sweden, Feb. 5, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Today Teleca (Stockholm:TELCb) was selected to install and integrate 3's Network Information System.
The system will ensure the efficient operation of 3's new 3G network. Teleca was previously chosen by 3 to provide a solution for planning, supervision and service provisioning. New functions will now be added to this for handling alarms and trouble ticketing.

The solution in question is based on a service assurance product from Micromuse, which ensures the efficient handling of alarms and assures the quality of services, and a trouble-ticketing product from Remedy, via Teleca's partner Syscom, that manages fault-registration processes and task handling.
