NEW YORK, March 3, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- A quarterly dividend distribution of $.15 per share for the quarter ending March 31, 2003 was declared today by Bexil Corporation (AMEX:BXL), payable March 31, 2003 to shareholders of record March 17, 2003. As announced at the time of the December 2002 dividend declaration of $.20, the Company's managed 8% distribution policy has been discontinued by the Board of Directors. As noted in the June 30, 2002 and December 31, 2002 shareholder reports, the quarterly dividend may be further reduced or eliminated.
