Vodafone Launches the Highly Successful Sharp GX10i in Vodafone live!


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 7, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Vodafone Sweden (NYSE:VOD) (Other OTC:VODPF) is introducing the prize-winning cameraphone Sharp GX10i through its consumer-concept package Vodafone live! The Sharp GX10i is a mobile phone with a tasteful and compact design that has been an incredible success among other Vodafone operators in Europe since last year's launch of Vodafone live! The Sharp GX10i gives users access to some 30 Java games from the game collection of Vodafone live! and smooth picture-communication via its multimedia messaging service (MMS).

The Sharp GX10i is the first cameraphone from Sharp Japan in the Swedish market, and Vodafone will be distributing it in Sweden through its concept package Vodafone live!

The Sharp GX10i is optimally adapted for the colour, sound, and picture services offered in Vodafone live!
