Immediatek CEO Zach Bair will Speak at North By Northeast Music Festival in Toronto

Bair, Creator of Netburn Copy Control Technology, will Discuss Digital Distribution

DALLAS, June 10, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Immediatek Inc. (OTCBB:ITEK), creator of NetBurn Secure(TM) digital delivery and copy control solutions, today announced that its Chairman and CEO Zach Bair will be a featured panelist at the North by Northeast Music Festival in Toronto, Ontario. Bair, will serve as co-moderator on the Digital Distribution Roundtable with Scott Cohen of The Orchard on Friday, June 11, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. The discussion is designed to help navigate the new terrain in marketing and distribution of recorded music from the indies to the major labels.

"Digital delivery is changing faster than ever, and I'm very excited to be participating in the NXNE Roundtable," said CEO & Chairman Zach Bair. "I believe that it is very important to show artists that there are new and exciting ways to get their music out, without resorting to giving it away free for the sake of exposure."

Immediatek is the developer of NetBurn Secure(www.netburncd.com), the only "single-click CD download and burn" software product on the market that helps record labels, artists, and content providers curb Internet piracy and protect their revenues by providing copy control even after digital music has been burned to disc, and which provides a new paradigm in digital delivery through the NetBurn Portal System.

Immediatek was founded by CEO and musician Zach Bair, who also founded venture-backed Voyence (www.voyence.com), formerly known as PowerUp Networks, in 2000.

Immediatek is combining technologies to create new and exciting product offerings, all geared for creating new revenue streams for artists and labels, and implementing copy management to help reduce illegal file sharing activity. Immediatek's website is www.immediatek.com.

NetBurn Secure also employs technology by third parties such as Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT).

Immediatek is also parent company to DiscLive Inc. (www.disclive.com), the live recording unit of Immediatek. DiscLive is the pioneer in the quickly growing market of live discs available immediately after the concert, having sold more live discs at concert venues than its competitors combined, and completing tours from Vermont to California and now also in Canada. The company's mobile recording and production facility can produce 1,000 high quality CDs in less than 20 minutes. A May 2 headline in The New York Times dubbed the DiscLive offer of legal high quality CDs available immediately after the concert "Rock's Best New Souvenir." DiscLive just recently brought its team through Canada to record the sold-out Pixies Reunion tour.

North by Northeast (NXNE) is one of Canada's biggest and most important music festivals. Now in its tenth year, NXNE (www.nxne.com) has a worldwide reputation for discovering and exposing new and emerging talent to music fans and industry professionals. More than 400 independent artists are scheduled to perform at 25 clubs.
