Material World and ASAP Global Sourcing Show Form Marketing Alliance

ASAP to Market, Develop Global Pavilion

ATLANTA, Aug. 31, 2004 (PRIMEZONE) -- Urban Expositions, owners and producers of Material World, an official event of the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), and the ASAP Global Sourcing Show, a division of Cyber Merchants Exchange (OTCBB:CMEE), have entered into a marketing alliance designed to further expand the international exhibitor base of global sourcing, fabric, trim, and technology at Material World. This alliance will commence at the upcoming Material World show, March 16-18, 2005, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

"We are excited about this marketing alliance with ASAP. Currently North American, European, Caribbean and Latin American countries are solidly represented within the show's exhibitor base. With ASAP's international marketing expertise and direct access to apparel and textile manufacturers abroad, Material World will now offer the strongest global presentation of any sourcing event in the U.S.," says Tim von Gal, Executive Vice President, Urban Expositions.

Participating countries will form their own country pavilions within a Global Pavilion, giving attendees the chance to explore the full range of fabrics, textiles, company production strengths, pricing structures and capabilities each country offers.

"In the Global Pavilion, we expect to feature the top textile and accessory manufacturing countries such as China, India, Pakistan, Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Africa and many others," adds Frank S. Yuan, Chairman and CEO, ASAP Global Sourcing Show. "The many committed exhibitors are thrilled to have this opportunity to showcase their latest textile collections not only to the U.S., but to the numerous Central and South American buyers who attend as well."

"Our members source all over the world," adds Kevin M. Burke, President and CEO, American Apparel & Footwear Association. "Having so many global sourcing opportunities under one roof in the U.S. will be a real boon to them. We look forward to this new partnership between Material World and ASAP."
