KMA Global Solutions International Achieves Success With New DUAL Tag Application Equipment

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario, July 11, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- KMA Global Solutions International, Inc. (Pink Sheets:KMAG), in conjunction with Interactive Packaging Group of Minneapolis, Minnesota, announces the successful results of recent testing of newly developed high speed DUAL Tag(tm) application equipment. The new equipment, customized specifically for KMA's needs, has the ability to apply the DUAL Tag(tm) at a rate exceeding 40,000 labels per hour, nearly double the current rate of application.

Interactive Packaging Group is one of the largest label producers in North America and has been an industry-leading provider of quality labels and other printed products for over 125 years. KMA Global Solutions International approved development of the new label manufacturing equipment that will enable packaging companies to reduce the cost of application and facilitate timely delivery to meet tight schedules.

As the electronic article surveillance solution of choice for over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, health and beauty aids and multimedia packaging, the DUAL Tag(tm) prevents inventory shrink and enables open display of high-margin and high-cost items, for more effective consumer product promotion by retailers. This tag offers the cost advantage of eliminating dual production runs and duplicate inventories by combining both AM (Acousto-Magnetic) and RF (Radio Frequency) technologies in a single pass, high speed application.

KMA Global Solutions International's CEO, Jeffrey D. Reid, stated, "This new equipment will enable packaging companies to reduce the cost of application and help them meet tough delivery schedules. We are excited to be able to offer such incredibly high-speed application of our labels to our growing customer base."
