Poolia appoints new head of Finnish operations

Poolia has appointed Jose Majanen as the new head of its Finnish subsidiary.
“Poolia has a good brand name in the Finnish market and our ambition now is to
grow our business further. We welcome Jose and look forward to him heading the
future development of Poolia Finland,” says Poolia's International Director
Björn Wide.

For the past eight years, Jose Majanen has been with Manpower in Finland, where
his latest position was as a regional manager with responsibility for sales and
marketing, recruitment and business development. He is a Finnish native who,
after graduating in economics and social studies from the University of Bremen,
spent several years as an industrial liaison officer at the Finnish Centre for
International Mobility.

“Poolia is a high-quality recruitment company that stands out through the real
enthusiasm shown in the service that we provide, and I look forward to being a
part of this effort. It is essential that Poolia increases its market presence
and becomes better known both by all major companies and by candidates in our
market area. The market itself is moving towards a shortage of skilled
professionals, which is creating great potential for developing high-quality
services in the staffing and recruitment business,” says Jose Majanen.

“We are very pleased to have secured Jose Majanen as managing director of Poolia
Finland. He is an experienced sales and key account management coach, and this,
in combination with his background in the staffing industry, makes him the
perfect choice to lead Poolia Finland in its next phase of development,” says
International Director Björn Wide.

Jose Majanen will assume his new position on 9 July and will report to Björn
Wide.
