Haverhill Star to Perform On May 4th

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- In a very rare appearance in such a venue, Brian Evans, the singer that has performed as the opening act for Joan Rivers, Jay Leno, and Social Distortion, will perform with full big band at The Chit Chat Lounge in Haverhill, Massachusetts.

Those interested in attending should contact The Chit Chat Lounge via their website at www.chitchatlounge.com, as seating and attendance will be extremely limited.

Evans, currently recording his major label debut and who is also co-creator of the forthcoming venture "Horrorscope," will sing with the big band and will perform several original recordings along with the nightclub hit "Left to My Own Devices," a song played in dance night clubs worldwide. Evans recently performed to thousands of nightclub goers at the club "Escape" in Amsterdam who broke in the new year with Brian's rendition of the song.

For more information, contact the venue for times and reservations. This is an extremely small venue, so make your reservations now. It's likely the only time you'll ever see Brian Evans in such an intimate setting with his major label debut just around the corner.

"The new album is going to be Brian's break-out CD to the international community, and we're looking forward to it. This is Brian's opportunity to give back to the local community that supported him in his youth," said Mark Biltz, Evans' publicist.

Brian's songs "It Had To Be You" is used on Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance," and his song "Witchcraft" is used on ABC's "Big Shots." Video clips of both are available on Brian's MySpace page.
