Brian Evans to Sing National Anthem for Clippers On Saturday

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 9, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Brian Evans will perform his 32nd national anthem rendition for a major league sports game on Saturday, January 12th, 2007 at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Evans is currently recording his major label debut, produced by Grammy nominee Chris Walden. His version of the song "It Had To Be You" was used on season three of "So You Think You Can Dance" and his version of "Witchcraft" on ABC's "Big Shots."

The opening act for such stars as Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, and Social Distortion, Evans began his "crooning" career at The Desert Inn in Las Vegas in 1998.

"I am a big fan of all sports, so singing the anthem is about as close as I'll ever get to playing so I always take the opportunity to do so," says Evans.

Evans previously appeared on TV shows ranging from "Beverly Hills, 90210" to "Full House" before focusing on a music career.

The L.A. Clippers will play the Dallas Mavericks.
