Sponda Plc reduces holding below 50 % in Ovenia Oy

Real estate investment company Sponda has reduced its holding in Ovenia Oy,
which provides property management services, from 70 per cent to 45 per cent.
The transactions took place at the end of 2007 and today, 24 January 2008.
Sponda sold shares to Ilmarinen's Suomi-rahasto I Ky private equity fund
administered by OKO Venture Capital Oy and to some of the company's operative
management. 

The company's ownership base is being expanded to reinforce the growth and
development of Ovenia's business operations. The current owners of Ovenia are
Sponda Plc, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company, Sampo plc, Sampo Life
Insurance Company Limited, Ilmarinen's Suomi-rahasto I Ky and some of the
company's operative management.
