TIMO LEINONEN HAS BEEN APPOINTED CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND VICE PRESIDENT OF IXONOS

IXONOS PLC  STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE	29 JANUARY 2008 

TIMO LEINONEN HAS BEEN APPOINTED CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER AND VICE PRESIDENT OF  
IXONOS                                                                          

Timo Leinonen, Master of Administrative Sciences (age 37), has been appointed   
Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Ixonos. Leinonen was also         
appointed member of the Management Team of Ixonos Group. Leinonen previously    
held the position as CFO of Suomen Terveystalo Oyj. Before that, Leinonen was   
Chief Financial Officer of Tieto-X Plc during 2002-2006.                        

Leinonen will join Ixonos during this spring.                                   

Petteri Mussalo, who has held the position as CFO of Ixonos since 2006, has     
resigned the post on his own volition, due to personal reasons.                 

For the time being, Financial Manager Niklas Wasenius will act as CFO of Ixonos.
