Anticipated adjustment of OMXH25 Index due to extraordinary dividend in Fortum Oyj

The board of Fortum Oyj (Fortum) has proposed that the Annual General Meeting
(AGM) on April 1, 2008 approves an extra dividend of € 0.58. Provided that the
AGM approves the proposal, Fortum (FI0009007132) will be adjusted in OMXH25
index of payment of extra dividends of total EUR 0.58 per share. Adjustment
will be performed effective from start on the Ex-day, by subtraction of EUR
0.58 from the closing price on the bank day before the Ex-day.
