The UBS AG, Zurich, Switzerland, has informed us in accordance with § 21
section 1 of the Securities Trading Law that the voting rights share of UBS
AG in Volkswagen Aktiengesellschaft, Wolfsburg, Germany, fell below the
threshold of 3% on 14th February 2008 with a voting rights share of 2.98%
(8,686,993 voting rights). Of these voting rights 0.09% (274,599 voting
rights) are to be allocated to UBS AG according to § 22, section 1,
sentence 1, no. 1 of the Securities Trading Law.
