In advance of Artimplant's Annual Meeting of Stockholders on May 6, 2008,
Artimplant's Nomination Committee has decided to propose that Ingemar Kihlström,
Lennart Ribohn, Anna Malm Bernsten and Wenche Rolfsen be re-elected as members
of the Board of Directors. Rickard Söderberg declines re-election. The
Nomination Committee has also decided to propose Mats Lindquist as a new member.

Mats Lindquist is Vice President, Global Business Development, NovaQuest.
NovaQuest is the Partnering Group of Quintiles Transnational. Quintiles is a
global CRO (Contract Research Organisation) with its core activities focused on
clinical development and commercialization of pharmaceutical products. Mats
Lindquist is a non executive Board member of BioPhausia AB.
