Embark On a Mystery of Consciousness -- New Book Takes a Metaphysical Journey, Shadowed by An Ancient Technology

LYONS, Colo., April 4, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- For generations, humanity has depended on machinery to help civilization progress. An exploration of that history and a journey into the heart of a ghost town is all set to begin in Deus ex Machina, the new haunted novel authored by Charles Matthew Sauer.

Deus ex Machina is a haunted book. It is a metafiction. Set within the Rocky Mountains, it follows the story of a narrator's exploration of the past and the new world. The quest begins when the narrator takes a vacation, from a job as a software engineer, to write a book. As the mystery evolves, readers will discover a spectral link between the tremendous advance of Pompeii and America, or between the golden legends of Spain and Colorado. From the phantasms of computer encryption to Roman geometry, legalities, and art, this book keeps you searching for answers far beyond the idea of a fiction. To order a copy of this involving read, be sure to visit your local bookstore or log on at Xlibris.com today.
