Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On April 8, 2008, Deka International S.A., Luxembourg, Luxembourg, informed
us in accordance with Art. 21 par. 1 WpHG (the German Securities Trading
Act) that the share of the voting rights in ThyssenKrupp AG, Duisburg and
Essen, Germany, (ISIN DE0007500001) exceeded the 3% threshold on April 7,
2008. At this date the share of the voting rights amounts to 3.11% (which
equates to 16,005,331 voting rights). 0.0003% of these voting rights (which
equates to 1,714 voting rights) are to be attributed to Deka International
S.A. in accordance with Art. 22 par. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG.
