GROUP Technologies AG on track for expansion – 
2007 Annual Report 

Eisenach, 25 April 2008 – The Supervisory Board of GROUP Technologies AG
approved  the annual report for GROUP Technologies AG as well as the annual
report for GROUP Konzern 2007 fiscal year (January 1 to  December 31 ,
2007) at the meeting held on April 24, 2008.

GROUP Technologies AG announced the most successful business year since its
foundation. The GROUP Konzern results increased in comparison to the
previous year by approximately 20% to 20.7 million Euros [US$ 33,0 mil.]
with an EBIT increase by 55% to 2.3 million Euros [US$ 3.7 mil]. The
results before taxes (EBT) at 2.0 million Euros [US$ 3.2 mil.] in 2007
doubled from 1.0 million Euros [US$ 1.6 mil.] in the previous year.
Positive development continued, clearly demonstrating the outstanding
performance of the company. Despite significant changes in the company’s
taxation (2007: 0.8 million Euros [US$ 1.3 mil.]; 2006: 0.02 million Euros
[US$ 0.03 mil.]), the net earnings of GROUP at 1.2 million Euros [US$ 1.9
mil.] were 23% higher than the previous year.

The company has continued to expand its position as the world’s largest
provider of software applications based on IBM Lotus Notes/Domino. The
acquisition of the majority stake of Relavis Corp, a  US based company,
headquartered in New York City, represents the strategic move by GROUP to
establish itself in this important market.

By passing the 20 million Euro {US$ 30 mil.] milestone the company achieved
critical mass to ensure its dominate position in the IBM Lotus application
market. Revenue from sales of licenses increased 25%,  8% for services and
approximately 13% from maintenance revenue. The company’s 2007 gross margin
was more than 10%, a significant increase over the reported 2006 margin of
5.7%. EBITDA margin was consistent with the previous year at 20%.
