The opening act for such luminaries as Jay Leno, Joan Rivers, Dionne Warwick, and Social Distortion, his music is also heard around the globe on such television shows as "So You Think You Can Dance" and ABC's "Big Shots," to name a few.

Prior to his music career, Evans was a frequent guest on shows such as "Full House" and "Beverly Hills, 90210," but shifted his career to singing at a nightclub in Vancouver, BC in 1997, which led to a stint at The Desert Inn in Las Vegas. Evans remains the only artist ever to record a live CD at that venue, now since replaced by The Wynn Resort.

Evans is now recording his debut international release, which will feature a duet with Kelly Osbourne and a track written and produced by Ahmet Zappa. Grammy nominee Chris Walden is producing the album entirely.

"I am really excited about this new CD, obviously," says Evans.

Evans is also recording a single entitled "At Fenway," aimed at Red Sox fans. It is not yet known if that particular track will be on the album.

"Like with what I'm doing with my new album, I'm now in a place where I'm writing about the things that really impact who I am," says Evans.

Evans remains the #2 most listened to swing music artist on MySpace, and remains in the Top 30 jazz artists on the site. Joan Rivers does the intro on the page.

Evans has kept busy while working on the album, performing low key corporate events for such luminaries as former Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee and the PGA Tour.
