EFFECT OF STRIKE AT RAUTARUUKKI'S RAAHE WORKS ON OPERATING PROFIT IS ABOUT EUR
5 MILLION 

The strike by members of the local trade union branch at Rautaruukki's Raahe
Works in Finland between 12 and 16 May 2008 is expected to weaken operating
profit for the second quarter by around EUR 5 million. 

On 21 May 2008, the Labour Court ruled the strike unlawful.
