Nanaimo RCMP Use TASER Device to Save Suicidal Man

According to an article in the June 26, 2008 edition of The Globe and Mail, a Nanaimo RCMP officer used a TASER(r) electronic control device Saturday morning to save a man who had slashed his wrist multiple times and stated that he wanted to die. The incident occurred outside a Nanaimo motel.
