OnVista AG sells Performance Marketing provider Ligatus to Gruner + Jahr

27.06.2008 – With the sale of its Performance Marketing provider Ligatus
GmbH, OnVista AG (DE0005461602) is selling another business division. The
buyer is the Hamburg based publishing house Gruner + Jahr AG & Co KG. The
contract was signed today. The price amounts to EUR 18.75 million. The sale
is still subject to approval by the German antitrust authority. OnVista AG
will realize a pre-tax book profit in the region of double-digit millions
from the sale.

The buyer of Ligatus, the printing and publishing house Gruner + Jahr, is
Europe’s biggest magazine publisher and generates the highest volume of
trade among all German publishing houses. The Group reaches readers and
users in 30 countries with more than 500 magazines and digital offerings.
With a foreign revenue share of more than 50%, G+J ranks among the most
international publishing houses in the world.

The sale of Ligatus affects the profit and loss account of OnVista AG,
since the company sold will in future no longer contribute to OnVista’s
sales and profits.
