Release of a Voting Rights announcement

On August 13, 2008, Lansdowne Partners Limited, London, Great Britain, has
informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that on August 8, 2008,
Lansdowne Partners Limited, being the General Partner of Lansdowne Partners
Limited Partnership, its Voting Rights in Praktiker Bau- und
Heimwerkermärkte Holding AG, Kirkel, Germany, ISIN: DE000A0F6MD5, WKN:
A0F6MD, have fallen below the 5 % limit of the Voting Rights. On that date
the Voting Rights represent 4.86 % (2,817,153 Voting Rights). These Voting
Rights were attributable to Lansdowne Partners Limited according to sec. 22
para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6, and sentence 2 and 3 WpHG.
The above Voting Rights are, amongst others, attributable to Lansdowne
Partners Limited trough the following fund owning more than 3 %:
- Lansdowne UK Equity Fund Limited, George Town, Grand Cayman, British West
Indies
On August 13, 2008, Lansdowne Partners Limited, London, Great Britain, has
informed us according to sec. 21 para. 1 WpHG that the Voting Rights of
Lansdowne Partners Limited Partnership, London, Great Britain, on behalf of
client funds that it manages, in Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte
Holding AG, Kirkel, Germany, ISIN: DE000A0F6MD5, WKN: A0F6MD, have fallen
below the 5 % limit of Voting Rights on August 8, 2008. On that date the
Voting Rights represent 4.86 % (this corresponds to 2,817,153 Voting
Rights). These Voting Rights were attributable to Lansdowne Partners
Limited Partnership according to sec. 22 para. 1 sent. 1 no. 6 WpHG.

Lansdowne UK Equity Fund Limited, George Town, Grand Cayman, Cayman
Islands, British West Indies, in Praktiker Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte
Holding AG, Kirkel, Germany, ISIN: DE000A0F6MD5, WKN: A0F6MD, have fallen
below the 5 % limit of Voting Rights on August 6, 2008. On that date the
Voting Rights represented 4.91 % (this corresponds to 2,846,549 Voting
Rights).
Correction of the publication dated August 2, 2007:
On August 13, 2008, Lansdowne Partners Limited, London, Great Britain, has
sent us an amendment in relation to our publication of August 2, 2007.
This amendment concerns the correction of the name 'Lansdowne UK Fund
Limited'. The correct name of the fund is 'Lansdowne UK Equity Fund
Limited'. Lansdowne UK Equity Fund Limited is located in George Town, Grand
Cayman, Cayman Islands, British West Indies.
Furthermore Lansdowne Partners Limited advised us, that Lansdowne UK Equity
Fund Limited exceeded the 5 % limit of the Voting Rights in Praktiker Bau-
und Heimwerkermärkte Holding AG, Kirkel, Germany, ISIN: DE000A0F6MD5, WKN:
A0F6MD on January 8, 2007. On that date the Voting Rights represented 6.56
% (3,803,345 Voting Rights).
