Mainz, August 29, 2008: nextevolution AG (ISIN DE000A0JC0A2) closes the
first six months with an increase in revenues of approximately 68 percent.
The company raised its revenues from 7,837 TEUR by 5,311 TEUR up to 13,148
TEUR. The major part of the mid-term-revenues falls with 7,215 TEUR
(previous year: 4,917 TEUR) on the second quarter of the business year and
mirrors the saisonal trend of the business modell.
In the second quarter, the company generated a positive EBITDA in the
amount of 27 TEUR. From this follows an EBITDA for the first six months of
-967 TEUR after -823 TEUR in the comparable period of the previous year.
EBIT, for the first six months 2008, is in the amount of -1,730 after
-1,118 in the comparable period of the previous year. The net profit after
minority interests as of June 30, 2008, amounts -1,456 TEUR after -1,247 in
the period of the previous year. This corresponds to an earnings per share
of -1.35 Euro after -1.25 Euro as of June 30, 2007.
The acquisition of new customers e.g. ProSieben/Sat1, Basler Versicherungen
or Wincor Nixdorf improved the group´s market position and mirrors the
scheduled course of the first six month. Further more, nextevolution
improved its market position as Content Management and
Web/Portal-Solutions-Proivder. In addition, the company realises existing
cross-selling-potentials by being involved in new IT-projects from existing
customers in other areas of applications.
Further on, the company completed the segment Enterprise Infrastructure
Solutions. In this segment, nextevolution AG so far focused on the topic
networks and the efficient management of IT networks. The existing service
portfolio for the area of 'Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions' was
complemented at the beginning of May 2008 by the areas of 'Storage' and
'Server'. By integrating this area, nextevolution meets the approach of an
integrated IT Service Provider, and will be able to consult and care for
their customers even more comprehensively with respect to software and
infrastructure solutions. In addition, the obtained solution competence
complements the area of Enterprise Infrastructure Solutions in he main
business field of 'Content Management Solutions' and therefore enables the
group to fully and vertically penetrate the entire range of topics, from
consulting and conception, proprietary application solutions via Content
Management and Middleware platforms to the IT infrastructure and to be a
one-stop shop. On the strength of the positive development of the
EIS-Segment, the Management Board forecasts a positive contribution to the
operating income in 2008 despite of start-up costs.
Further on, the Management Board positioned the proprietary developed,
complementary software-applications, based on standard software-platforms
of the companies SAP and IBM/FileNet, in the market. Especially for the
SAP-based product line, the companies Exxeta AG and itelligence AG were won
as distribution partners.
The general development of the nextevolution-group lets the Management
Board cling to the forecast. The Management Board expects revenues in the
amount of 36.5 to 38.0 million euro and an EBITDA of 2.9 to 3.2 million
euro for the business year 2008.
