AFFECTO HAS AGREED TO SELL CONTEMPUS AS TO BASWARE

Affecto Plc has agreed to sell Contempus AS to Basware. Contempus is part of
Affecto's operations in Norway and provides software solutions for Enterprise
Purchase to Payment and Enterprise Content Management solution areas.
Contempus has developed its own Contempus software product range and in
addition to the software sales it also implements solutions based on that
software.

Contempus was part of Component Software Group ASA, which Affecto acquired in
2007. In 2007, Contempus generated revenue of 69.3 MNOK (approx. 8.7 MEUR) and
EBITA of 6.8 MNOK (approx. 0.85 MEUR) 2007. As at 30 June 2008, Contempus had
55 employees and a net cash position of approx. 17 MNOK (approx. 2.1 MEUR). In
Affecto's reporting, Contempus has been reported in the Operational Solutions
and Norway&Denmark segments.

The transaction price, to be paid in cash on closing date, is 70 MNOK (approx.
8.8 MEUR) plus an additional price of max. 15 MNOK (approx. 1.9 MEUR). The
transaction is subject to the approval of the Norwegian competition
authorities. The transaction is expected to be closed in 2008, after the
necessary clearances from authorities have been obtained.

"Affecto is an IT service company by nature, while Contempus is a product
business based on proprietary software. Divesting Contempus helps us to better
focus in developing our main business, the Business Intelligence operations.
We believe that Contempus will have good future with Basware", comments
Affecto's CEO Pekka Eloholma.
