NOTIFICATION OF CHANGE IN HOLDINGS UNDER CHAPTER 2, SECTION 9 OF THE FINNISH
SECURITIES MARKET ACT 

Suomen Terveystalo Oyj has on 15 September 2008 gained knowledge of the
following notification under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Finnish Securities 
Market Act regarding a possible change in holdings:

According to the announcement of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company, the
company´s ownership in Suomen Terveystalo Oyj´s shares will exceed 10 percent
(1/10) in case the company will fully use its underwriting undertaking to
subscribe shares in Suomen Terveystalo Oyj´s offering. 

Providing that Suomen Terveystalo Oyj´s offering is fully completed, the
holdings of Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company will constitute a total of
13,355,766 Suomen Terveystalo Oyj´s shares, i.e., 14.0 percent of the share
capital and voting rights in Suomen Terveystalo Oyj. 

The share capital of Suomen Terveystalo Oyj constitutes 68,141,663
shares and voting rights before the offering and 95,398,328 shares and voting
rights providing that the offering is fully completed.
